The whole ensemble has arrived safely in Santa Cruz, Bolivia; including all luggage and instruments! After two days of intense preparations, meetings and rehearsals, today we head to the edge of the Amazon rain forest, to the small town of Trinidad, to play our first concert.

Our transportation is three mini airplanes, since extreme rainfall and floods in the area have made serious damage to roads, several of which are still under water.
This concert is a gift from APAC and the festival to the people of Trinidad, many of which have lost everything in the destruction from the floods, as a gesture of affection and support.

The next few days we will spend in the village Urubichá, where we will meet and do a workshop with about 800 (!) students at the Urubichá School of Music.

Update : An audience of about 600 helped create a marvelous atmosphere in the cathedral.
